Understanding the Integrated Underlay
Every Holzer Floor plank comes with a factory-attached 1mm IXPE underlay. The underlay is already attached to every plank, so there is no need for a separate underlay layer for the Holzer flooring system.

Why this matters to designers
The 1mm integrated underlay is included in the total product thickness:
• 7mm total = 1.2mm natural oak + 4.8mm stone core + 1mm underlay
• 10mm total = 2mm natural oak + 7mm stone core + 1mm underlay
Important: The integrated underlay is designed for sound insulation and underfoot comfort. It does not level an uneven concrete floor or replace proper subfloor preparation.
